Rental Terms and Cancellation & Payment Policy

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date and time. Your date is not reserved until the deposit is received and confirmed.

The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 7 days before your scheduled event. Failure to submit the remaining balance by this deadline may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Cancellations are not considered confirmed until you receive a written acknowledgment from Memory Lane Rentals Utah.

Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event date: your 50% deposit is forfeited, but no additional charges will apply.

Cancellations made 15–29 days before the event date: your 50% deposit is forfeited. If the remaining balance has already been paid, 25% of the total booking amount will be refunded.

Cancellations made 8–14 days before the event date: your 50% deposit is forfeited and no refund will be issued on any amount paid.

Cancellations made 7 days or fewer before the event date: the full booking amount is non-refundable. This includes same-day cancellations and no-shows.

In the rare event that Memory Lane Rentals Utah must cancel your booking due to equipment failure, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, or the option to reschedule at no additional charge.

We understand that plans change. One complimentary reschedule is available if requested at least 14 days before your original event date, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

Rescheduling requests made fewer than 14 days before the event date are subject to a $75 rescheduling fee, and availability cannot be guaranteed.

All rescheduled events must take place within 12 months of the original event date. If a new date is not confirmed within that window, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be issued.

If your rescheduled date falls into a higher-priced package tier or requires additional travel, a price adjustment may apply. We will notify you of any difference before confirming the new date.

The client is responsible for ensuring a safe and suitable setup area for the photo booth. Required space is a minimum of 10×10 feet with access to a standard 110V electrical outlet within 25 feet.

Any damage to equipment caused by guests, venue staff, or other vendors during the rental period will be billed to the client at the cost of repair or replacement. Memory Lane Rentals Utah is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse of equipment or props.
